New term!

Hello all,
We’re looking forward to starting a new term, scaling even greater musical heights.  Or maybe just singing and having fun.

Lots of info in this email/post (whichever you’re accessing), so don’t delete.

Dates: we’ve got 7 planned, need to avoid 5 November, for obvious reasons.
10, 24 September; 8, 22 October; 12, 26 November; 3 December (last one, only a week after the previous meeting)

Fees: Subscription £80, single session £15.  We do prefer subscriptions, if you think you can manage most of the sessions.

Repertoire:
We’ve got several new pieces to explore, listed in bold.

ROUNDS: I’ve Lost My Mistress;  My Beloved is Milk and Wine

PIECES: New ones are Ave Verum (Josquin des Prez); Locus Iste (Bruckner); Magnificat (Sturk). This last one is the 3rd movement of the evening service, for which we’ve already done the Phos Hilaron and Nunc Dimitis.

Less familiar, but we’ve done them a little are Agnus Dei (Byrd mass) and Seal Lullaby (Whitacre)

We’ve removed some from our usual list, but please keep available the ones pasted below, ignoring the rubbish formatting.  Newish pieces in bold.

Hope the summer was kind to you all, no one melted, and hope to see lots of you soon.
