Next meeting– AND PAY ATTENTION!

Hi all,
We’ve made some changes in the sheet music for two of the pieces, the new round, My Beloved is Milk and Wine, and the Ave Verum by Josquin des Pres.  In the former, it’s a very slight change in the second part of the round, so for that one, you can just scribble in the change (delete a bar, change words and one note).  For the Josquin, as it was more challenging than we’d realised, we’ve redone the word distribution.  Your option is to either download a new copy, or  follow the pdf online & make changes in what you’ve already printed out.  I recommend the former.  It’s only 2 pages, and my advice is NOT to do the printing back-to-back, but use 2 sheets of paper.  That way, they can face each other in a folder, and there’s no page turns.  Magic!
For those of you who would like to hear what that Ave Verum sounds like, here are links to a couple of performances.  The word distribution varies wildly amongst all the recordings. For the most part, they sing in a higher key than we’re doing, and they’re both quite slow, but you’ll get the feel.
Our agenda for next Thursday the 24th:
ROUNDS:
Waters of Babylon
Two Moondogs: Nero, Coffee Beans
My Beloved is Milk & Wine (improved, clarified)
PIECES:
Ave Verum (des Pres)
Early One Morning
I Attempt from Love’s Sickness
Locus Iste
Rest Sad Eyes
Sure on this Shining Night (Lauridsen)
Once again, it’s way too much, and for your delectation, we have a– ta DAH!– Name that Tune to distribute at the end.  Thanks to all who submitted weird & wonderful suggestions.
See you soon.
