I think Bocelli has a beautiful but delicate and “vulnerable” voice;even when in good
health….so give the guy a break!….but I would say that, wouldn’t I? most women are
“soppy” over him. He’s been sick, and should be resting his voice, not singing!
…don’t throw-up Paul; Bocelli brings out the “mother”,in women;thats his trick!
Of course he dosn’t have the vocal power and control, needed for a top tenor, but he
has”soul”and expression in it…..maybe he’s taking too big roles for his voice?
anyway,hope he recovers soon.
As for the daft “maestro”in the second piece…think the orchestra are just”doing their
thing”and ignoring Goldie!!
At least Katherine Jenkins never calls herself an opera singer. And I don’t mind Bocelli’s voice. I just wish he knew how to use it.
Goldie looks like he’s been bitten by fleas!! But Boccelli – I guess he’s our Katherine Jenkins … everyone always says she can’t sing ‘real’ opera – but I personally love Boccelli’s voice (though of course none can rival the voice of that greatest of greats, PAK !!!!!)
